Airbnb: Our New Way of Traveling

Oh goodness nosotros dear to travel.

Although, back in 1999 when my husband and I started dating, I had barely left our hometown

At present… you tin can't keep me habitation. Well, I guess that's a prevarication. I do love being a dwelling trunk, only you can always bet that I'k at least planning our adjacent trip.

Inside the concluding year, we've found a new fashion to travel & later on a few examination-runs, I experience prophylactic recommending it to all of my fellow travel lovers out there.

Our very sleek & modern Airbnb this time was beyond perfect for what we needed…

Then what is Airbnb?

Well, their website says it all-time…

A castle for a week? I would KILL for a run a risk to experience that.

But for now… we've only stayed in apartments & condos. Houses presently to come I'm sure.

This time effectually, we stayed in an Airbnb on Michigan Artery in Chicago. We were just a curt Uber ride from the Magnificent Mile & Navy Pier.

Nosotros chose a 2 bedchamber Airbnb, because nosotros were traveling with others, which helped salve on costs also!

Staying in an Airbnb rather than a hotel, we were also able to have a washer/dryer, fridge {to store that left over Chicago Way Pizza that we ordered late at night}, and nosotros had a living expanse to relax in  with our friends, afterward a day of shopping.

The view from the balustrade of our apartment was incredible.

In our feel of staying in Airbnb's, the host has been extremely nifty to work with, and you lot get a much more personal level of service than a hotel would provide. The simply part I practise miss, is the room service. 😉

Quite possibly the funniest moment of the trip, was searching for the wireless router, and seeing the nearby bachelor networks that I could bring together:

While her hubby is in meetings all day?

Well of course I went to Starbucks, and bought this precious little java mug…

Went to Navy Pier with my hubby for a quick bite to eat between work meetings.

Went to Mainland china Town & had quite peradventure the BEST Chinese nutrient I've always stuffed myself with.

 and of course… went to the Kate Spade store, to search for a new clothes for a conference that I'm speaking at on Party Styling. 😉

I was a bit excited…

I found my apparel…

and about fifteen meg other special little finds that I had to resist from tossing over my arm.

Life was hard that day. Starbucks, Kate Spade, & luncheon cocktails. I don't even know what kind of blossom that is in my cocktail on the right, but it was delightful.

That night we did a petty cocktail hour with business concern clients, and finished off dinner at Gibson'due south Steakhouse. Chicago has a crazy corporeality of "must-get-to," restaurants. I wish so badly nosotros had more time to go to them all.

Since we've traveled and so much using Airbnb now, we decided to make a few of our ain. Yeah! We've taken some of our properties and have turned them in to Airbnb's! It's been incredibly fun renovating and leasing these out to out-of-towners!
